Nifty Trend
Yesterday, Nifty Futures closed with a long black candlestick pattern, after a hanging man candlestick pattern. This indicates reversal in trend. The immediate support in nifty is at 5074 levels, after breaking this level it can slide towards 5028 levels.

Nifty Prediction
The markets made moderate gains on Friday and Nifty closed at almost highest point of the week. For Today, Nifty is expected to trade in the range between 5,068 & 5,108 in the upper side and 5,022 & 4,972 in the lower side. Traders are advised to trade long in Nifty from 5,052 levels or from 5,032 levels for targets of 5,082 and 5,100 levels with a strict stop loss placed at 5,000 levels. If Nifty slips below 5,000 levels short Nifty targeting lower supports.

Nifty Prediction and Trend
The markets consolidated and remained choppy for whole day and ended flat following Tuesday's rally. The current up move is expected to sustain for some more trading sessions. For tomorrow, Nifty has a strong resistance around 5,000 level, above this level a rally towards 5040 levels could also be seen. On the downside Nifty has support around 4,900 level, below this a rally till 4880 levels could also be seen.

Resistance: 5,000.
Support: 4,900.

Today, Nifty future is expected to trade in the range between 4,335 - 5,080 level in short term. The trading strategy would be to create long positions if the Nifty takes support around 4,800 levels for the target of 4,852 and 4,900. On the other hand, traders can also create short positions if the Nifty resists around 4,932 levels.

Nifty Prediction
Today, Nifty is expected to open flat in the range of 4,831-4,911 in the upper side and 4,818 & 4,798 in the lower side. Traders can create long positions, if the Nifty takes support at around 4,846 levels for targets of 4,876 and 4,900 else can create short positions if the Nifty resists at around 4,911 levels.

Bank Nifty Today
Today, Bank Nifty is expected to trade volatile in the range of 8,583-8,883. After being range-bound for the last five or six days, in a fabulous session the Nifty added 107 points.

Yesterday, Nifty closed with little loss as it recovered most of the lost points. For today, Nifty has resistance at 4,768 and 4,800 and the support is at 4,702 and 4,659 levels. A Movement above 4,800-4,819 and a movement below 4,659 is expected to turn the Nifty in major one sided movement.

Today, the markets seems to be in a sideways trend betwwen its support around 4,645 and the critical level around 4,712. The markets are expected to change it's range from the mid session, if the index trades below 4,645 then it is also expected to get it's lower support around 4,625. If Nifty manages to trade above 4,712 then it will move upside around 4,736 levels, above this level upside rally can extend towards the next resistance around 4,766. Today, Investors will keep eye on weekly inflation data. Traders are adviced to avoid long positions below the support level of 4,660.

Today, Nifty is expected to trade positive. It is expected to trade in the range of 4,850 - 4,690. Yesterday, Nifty showed selling pressure near 4,650 levels. Selling pressure will continue below 4530 - 4510. Today, if the market is able to hold above 4,540 in the first half traders can enter into long position with 4,540 placed a stop loss for the target of 4,700 else can short positions if Nifty resists at 4685.
 
Today, Bank Nifty is expected to trade volatile in the range of 7,655 - 8,025 with a negative bais.

Today the markets are expected to trade in green, as most most of the Asian markets opened positive today. Yesterday, NSE Nifty closed at 4,613 down by 38.5 points and BSE Sensex closed around 15,379 down by 112 points. Sensex is trading around 15404, up by 25 points and Nifty is trading around 4619, up by 6 points after the opening for today's trade. 
The traders are adviced to avoid long positions below the support levels of 4,600 as the markets appears to be in sideways on the charts for today's trading session.
  • Support for today 4,585 - 4,562.
  • Resistance for today 4,635 - 4,662.

Nifty Futures shut stop at 4944.95 up by 34.5 or 0.7 %. It is looking bullish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade below the support level of 4875 else above resistance level of 4962 it would be in an upward trend.

NSE Index Nifty closed below 5000 mark and hit a day low of 4932.32 during last leg of the trading session and closed near the same at 4944.15 down by 112.45 points.
Nifty futures lost 136.65 points and settled at 4931.10 which was 2.68% below its previous close. 
RESISTANCE: It has first resistance close to the level of 4980 & above this level the next resistance is seen near the 5050 mark.
SUPPORT: It has first support close to the level of 4890 & below this level the next support is seen near 4820 mark

Nifty for Today- Thursday 4th August 2011

Today the benchmark Nifty is quite volatile as it has maintained a positive trend since opening. The 30-share BSE Sensex is trading at 17,980 which is up by 40 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose just 12 points to 5,417. Heavyweights like SBI, Infosys, HDFC and ICICI Bank gained around 1%. TCS, ONGC, HDFC Bank, HUL and Wipro are marginally in green.

Markets bounced back after Wednesday's drubbing and closed near the days high tracking firm Asian peers and buying interest in oil & gas shares. The S&P CNX Nifty ended at 5412.35, up by 63.40 points or 1.19 %.
The Nifty futures closed and settled finally at 5412.55, up by 63.10 points or 1.18 %. It is looking bearish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade support level of 5350 else above resistance level of 5420 it would be in an upward trend.
It has resistance close to the level of 5420 & above this level the next resistance near the 5530 mark. It has support close to the level of 5350 & below this level the next support near 5300 mark.

Today market edged higher in the afternoon session and ended the day on a positive note after engineering conglomerate L&T (Larsen & Tourbo) reported 17% rise in the fourth quarter profit. The S&P CNX Nifty ended at 5,428.10, up 7.50 points or 0.14 %.
The Nifty futures closed and settled finally at 5424.80, up by 0.75 points or 0.01 %. It is looking bearish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade below the support level of 5385 else above resistance level of 5465 it would be in an upward trend.
It has resistance close to the level of 5465 & above this level the next resistance near the 5540 mark. It has support close to the level of 5385 & below this level the next support near 5310 mark.

The markets ended on a flat note today, after gyrating between zones during intra-day trades. The S&P CNX Nifty was down -0.35 points at 5551.10, after having recovered 48 points from the day's low of 5502.40. The international cues were not encouraging either.
The Nifty futures closed and settled finally at 5558.65, up by 3.65 or 0.07 %. It is looking bearish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade below the support level of 5500 else above resistance level of 5595 it would be in an upward trend.
It has resistance close to the level of 5595 & above this level the next resistance near the 5730 mark. It has support close to the level of 5500 & below this level the next support near 5350 mark.

Today Market opened lower and traded with negative bias throughout the day to close in red. On the daily chart, it is being observed that prices are moving closer to the 200-day SMA (19,048 / 5,700 levels) which is the immediate support for the indices. In coming trading session if indices trade below 19,245 / 5,777 levels then they are likely to test 19,150 - 19,050 / 5,750 - 5,700 levels. On the upside, 19,426 - 19,540 / 5,830 - 5,875 levels may act as resistance for the day.
