Today also markets traded flat, like yesterday. It is expected that the markets will take cues from global markets to open on a flat note. The CNX Midcap index was down by 0.9% and the BSE Smallcap  index lost 0.8%, in today's trading session. The S&P CNX Nifty was also not able to sustain on higher levels and finally closed at 5278.30, up by 2.45 points or 0.05 %. The Europian markets are also traded weak. FTSE was down by 26 points, CAC by 22 Points and DAX by 3 points. Today's top gainers were Mahi. & Mahi, Cipla, Tata Power, ONGC and Bajaj Auto. Top loosers were Hindustan Unilever, Ranbaxy Labs, Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy and Maruti Suzuki India.
Nifty traded in the range of 5,325-5,250 for two consecutive days, this shows that volatility may be continued. The Nifty futures finally closed and settled at 5283.25 which was up by 5.40 points or 0.10 %. It is being expected that nifty will trade negative in the coming trading sessions if would be able to manage trade below the support level of 5260 or above resistance level of 5330 then it would be in an upward trend.
Resistance & Support Levels for Thursday:-
It has resistance near 5330 and above this level the next resistance is near the 5380 mark.  It has support close to the level of 5260 & below this level the next support is near 5175 mark.
