The CNX Midcap index lost 1.25% and the BSE Smallcap index was also down by 1.4% during the week. The Sensex and Nifty closed below their psychologically important levels of 16,000 and 4800. Today's Top Gainers were Hero Moto Corp with +2.59%, Mahi. & Mahi with +1.00%, Infosys with +.88%. Top Loosers were Reliance Capital with -12.03%, Reliance Commu.Ltd with -10.86%, Jaiprakash Associates with -7.67%, Reliance Infrastruct with -7.18%, Sesa Goa with -6.43%.
