Stock Market Updats Today- Monday 5th September 2011
Today markets declines and closed with moderate losses. The European markets are also trading weak. The FTSE index is down by 115 points, DAX is down by 176 points and CAC index is down by 106 points. IT and Oil & gas were the worst performers of todays trading session. Markets rebounded from the day's lows mainly because of the strength in auto and realty stocks. The Sensex closed at 16713 which is down by 108 points from its previous close, and the Nifty settled at 5017 which is down by 23 points. Today's Top Performers were Reliance Infrastructure with +5.46%, Reliance Capital with +5.39%, Hero Moto Corp with +5.34%, Jaiprakash Associates with +4.11%, Reliance Communication Ltd with +3.90%. Top Loosers were Wipro Ltd with -3.77%, Cairn India Ltd. with -3.42%, HCL Technologies with -3.26%, ONGC with -2.63%, Bharat Petroleum with -2.59%.
